Portia Alexis ‌

As the assistant to the COO at CRL, Portia supports the administrative, operational, and financial teams. Before coming to CRL, Portia worked at Summit Consulting and contributed to two federal credit programs designed to expand the loan and grant-making capacity of Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs). She reviewed loan application materials, including financial statements, lending plans, operational capacity, and strategic goals. In her free time, Portia enjoys dabbling in watercolor, flower photography, playing tennis, and swimming.

She has a master’s degree in international business from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a B.A. in architectural studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
